We tried three times : Four members headed to the top but were forced to withdraw due to deteriorating weather conditions again. The expedition made decision to give up their ascent.

Itinerary

It took 71 days for all expedition.

1) 8/27 : Incheon Airport – Kathmandu in Nepal (By airplane)

8/28~9/1 : Staying Kathmandu and finding the way to Tibet for Fantasy Ridge route. Finally failed, gave up and changed the plan.

9/2 : Changed the climb plan and prepared expedition for new plan.

9/3 : Kathmandu - Lukla / 2,840m - Phakding / 2,610m
Every member started to caraban (except for Mr. Park)

Mr. Park left in Kathmandu for administrative process and started his caraban on 9/6.

9/4 : Phakding / 2610m - Namche / 3,440m

9/5 : Staying Namche / 3,440m for adapting to high altitude

9/6 : Namche / 3,440m - Pangboche / 3,930m

9/7 : Pangboche / 3,930m - Dingboche / 4,410m

9/8 : Staying Dingboche / 4,410m for adapting to high altitude

9/9 : Dingboche / 4,410m - Lobuche / 4,910m

9/10 : Lobuche / 4,910m - Gorak Shep / 5,140m

9/11 : Gorak Shep / 5,140m – Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m

9/12~9/17 : Staying Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m to set up camp and prepare the climbing.

9/18 : Performing rites for expedition’s safety

9/19 : Staying Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m

Because SPCC(Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee)’s route management delayed the start of the tour.
9/20 : Starting the tour to C.1(6,100m) and carrying the luggage

9/21 : Setting up Camp(6,100m) and making up the route for C.2

9/22 : Staying Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m and having break time

9/23 : Setting up Camp (6,500m)

9/24~26 : making up the route for C.3 and setting up Camp (7,300m)

9/27~29 : making up the route for C.4 and setting up Camp (7,900m)

9/30~10/3 : Staying Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m and having break time

10/4 : First attempt : 4 members headed to C.2

10/5~10/8 : 4 members headed to top but were forced to withdraw due to deteriorating weather conditions.

10/9 : Climbing down to B.C

10/13 : Staying Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m and having break time.

The member, Younghoon-Oh started to climb to Mt. Lhotse.

10/14~17 : Second attempt : Four members headed to the top but were forced to withdraw due to deteriorating weather conditions. Meanwhile Younghoon-Oh tried to climb Mt. Lhotse and witnessed an accident that one Sherpa of Poland expedition was killed in a fall. He decided to help them instead of climbing.

10/18~25 : Staying Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m and having break time

10/26~28 : Third attempt : Four members headed to the top but were forced to withdraw due to deteriorating weather conditions again. The expedition made decision to give up their ascent.

10/29~30 : Staying Mt. Everest B.C / 5,360m and preparing to climb down

10/31~11/3 : Starting to climbing down

11/4 : Staying Kathmandu

11/5 : Going back to Korea
