The anniversary

150 years of Mammut. That's got to be worth celebrating! And we are celebrating in the way we know best: with outdoor enthusiasts on the world's most beautiful peaks. Until our anniversary year of 2012, 150 teams will embark upon the biggest peak project in history and scale 150 mountains.

As a member of one of the teams, you'll be a part of the ultimate test event, receive some quality Mammut anniversary equipment and climb in the company of an alpine guide from the Mammut Alpine School.

The project and its stages

During the recruiting stage, one was able to use his virtual 3D mountain to apply to be a teamleader. Once one had created a mountain, he became a mountain founder and was able to search among friends and in the community for supporters to add photos to his mountain, helping it to grow to dizzying heights. True to the motto: The higher the mountain, the better the chances!

Depending on the country and its peak allocation, a number of the most successful mountain founders were invited to take part in stage 2, the team formation stage. As a teamleader, you now have to create a team of 2-6 people and face our jury of experts with it.

The teams that are finally picked by the jury will then in stage 3 climb 150 peaks worldwide and will be supported by professional alpine guides and get the exceptional anniversary collection.
